Blimey, now its’ Canada :-)

I mount my horse to Canada. Over the hills, Beyond the streams, Perched between icy mountains, My journey hence began, I tried and toiled, Worked day and night, To meet CIC requirements, Only to meet with disgruntlement, “You are not who you say you are”, A momentary lapse of reason, My head above the clouds, My feet deep in the ground, I couldn’t run, Though wished I could fly, Flying in a scarlet dream, I dreamt of a world, Sans borders, Sans hatred, Sans hunger

This blog page is my response and request to the Government of Canada and Human Rights activists all over the world to change inhuman regulations, as evident from the case details herein. I’ve received a response from the UK arm of CIC (against immigration file # B053659686), brief excerpt from the same: “Your application was carefully reviewed according to the criteria specified in the instructions and determined not eligible for processing. You were sent a letter explaining the assessment, thereby concluding the assessment of your application. Your file is closed and the processing fees you paid have been, or will be, refunded. Should you have different or additional information, you may wish to submit a new application for permanent residence in Canada via the Centralized Intake Office, in Sydney, Nova Scotia.” – Now, I have a problem with that! In plain English, it means to me, and please correct me if I am wrong, that:

    • By CIC UK assessment I am not eligible under the category I applied for immigration
    • If I STILL believe that I was/am eligible I should make a NEW application to a NEW office for consideration

Think, for a minute, are they saying that perhaps their assessment was not “correct” despite all the “carefulness” and provided additional data, the new office may have a different decision? For indeed, this is precisely what they are saying (to me!) – My contention is: WHY SHOULD I REINVENT THE WHEEL?

  • Waste my time and effort in a “re application” which is in REALITY, simply ADDITIONAL INFORMATION to the existing one
  • Waste the GOVERNMENT OF CANADA’s time and money in processing, paperwork which could EASILY be utilized for a fresh / deserving case then mine, which only require additional information to be reviewed

Hence my contention is that rules and regulations are made by human beings, Canadians inclusive, and where they are counterproductive to their very core objective (in this case CIC-UK’s proposal goes against fair evaluation by the initial point of contact-UK and quick processing of applications-since the effort would be doubled from mine/CIC end). I ask for forgiveness for stating the obvious, as a Trainer and Consultant, I do speak out when I think there is a need to, maybe I could have “shut up” and simply followed their advice “reapply” but then it goes against logic and the not-so-common sense. Apologies if my words were not what they were expecting. But as mentioned earlier I STILL EXPECT A FAIR TRIAL from them since I didn’t get it the first time round! And I’m sure this step will FACILITATE major time and cost savings for CIC as well as thousands of applicants like myself. I’ve written to Honourable  CIC Minister Kenney as follows:

The Honourable Jason Kenney, P.C., M.P.

Minister, Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Ottawa, Ontario
K1A 1L1

Honourable Minister Kenney,

I invite the attention of the Honourable Jason Kenney, P.C., M.P., Minister, Citizenship and Immigration Canada to the following case, I do believe that Canadian immigration process is a ROLE MODEL for the WHOLE world (I have even quoted your example at http://growuae.wordpress.com/) I also enclose my request to you under Community Historical Recognition Program (CHRP) at the end of this email  for which I may have contributed, had I been in Canada by now. Honourable Minister, you will agree that excellence is a pursuit, and failures / mistakes help us grow beyond our current limits, whether as individuals or organizations, I do believe that my immigration request to CIC was not properly handled initially and is NOW being mishandled as well due a PROCEDURE/PROCESS based flaw which I intend to bring to your attention as per the following email (failure to reopen the file even for minor review of additional information doubling the applicant AND CIC’s time and costs for the application) – I wish and mean well to Canadians, like I do to the whole world (http://happyhumans.wordpress.com) and believe that you will take my suggestion in a positive spirit and initiate procedural / process change that will result in time and cost savings for CIC and the applicants. Sd/Imran Owais Kazmi

Hence my contention is that the file should be reopened to save myself a year in a needless re-application and processing, besides CIC and their staff too, in the process, making me a “happy” customer of CIC besides sorting out the minor bottlenecks…

Case information and details below:

My dearest who read this blog of mine, for you are an elite, select few 🙂 The Canadians rejected my immigration application file no B053659686, apparently due a misinterpretation of my credentials in the applied-for category (I am one of those few who in reality are master of all (HR/Training/Marketing/Strategy/World Peace) and hence pose a challenge in comprehension for a linear thinker). Or the fact that I’m the only (alive) human being to have innovated his model over the Balanced Score Card (which I’m sure the Canadian Gov is using in some form or manner) at www.crscube.com – I’ll be delighted to explain in-person to the Canadian immigration officials that it is indeed, a mistake, however, my complaint and supporting documents are available right here for anyone who wishes to understand the case, and help.

Being a thoroughly positive person, I do believe that the Canadian officials will give my case a re-think. In short, while training isn’t the ONLY thing that I’ve done, I’ve done it very well, and for more than 5 of the last 10 years, 8+ if one looks at my entire professional life of 15 years, or roughly, half of my working life, my training participants and clients, as per proofs below, find me quite amazing and transformational, I’ve made MONEY through this area, its’ not just a “hobby” though I thoroughly enjoy changing lives, through training. And my OPEN ENDED offer to CIC, TRY ME, FOR FREE, on ANY soft skills topic! and see facts from fiction. I’d love to come over to Canada, for more than one reason, yes I can get “cheap” and say “I love Bryan Adams” and for some of you music buffs out there “Cutting Crew” (yes, I too, have “been in love before”) and Shania Twain, Alanis Morisette, Avril Lavigne, Celine Dion, the sensation Michael Bublè (with an accent) Nelly Furtado (how I love her “Mornin’ after dark” with Timbaland”)  amongst a few, but then, it would still be true! Though not perhaps valid reason to have me over. Or the fact that I’m a world peace activist who calls himself (theoretically though a lot less practically) 100% Muslim, 80% Christian, 70% Jewish, 60% Buddhist and perhaps 50% Hindu/Sikh-it’s kind of funny but true, we all have SO MUCH in common and yet we learn to “hate” each other as soon as childhood waves goodbye! I love humans, animals, plants, sea, air, land, the universe, I do believe in a border less world (with tight security and “value” controls to ensure harmony) but I don’t think the Canadian officials are ready for it as yet? (who knows, I may be wrong here : – ) – more on www.ahappyworld.info – So let’s get serious now 🙂 here’s the scoop, see if you can help a good man on a noble mission to overcome undue obstacles?

Cover Letter to the Canadian immigration officials (explains the details of the case)

Annexure 1: Proof of capability

Annexure 2: CIC Refusal

Annexure 3: Consultant Correspondence

Annexure 4: Forms originally submitted to CIC

So now you have all you need to figure out if indeed injustice (as I believe) was done, and given the CIC powers, thou can undo thine mistakes 🙂

    Dear Brother,

Im also faced the same problem what you have faced and my visa application is rejected due to the misunderstanding by the Visa Officer for the category filed. Because of his misunderstanding and under evaluation my visa has been rejected by one point. I felt that I was slipped and fell down before the finishing line in the running race.

I have explained the Visa Officer clearly but he is not in a position to understand, finally I left the place with pains. I have crossed all the steps and procedures which was conducted by CIC but I have been rejected in the final interview. It is a four years struggle, I invested my money, time, efforts, etc but all are put in vein.

    Regards
    Ibrahim
